Cancellation & Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing ED Creative Group for your digital development needs. This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding project cancellations and refunds for our services, including Backend Coding, Quality Assurance, Mobile App Development, Web App Development, and Professional Services.

1. Project Commencement

  • All projects begin upon receipt of the agreed deposit and signed contract.

  • The deposit amount is non-refundable as it secures our resources for your project.​

 

2. Cancellation by Client

2.1 During Discovery Phase
  • Cancellations during the discovery phase will result in retention of the deposit plus payment for all work completed to date.

  • Any deliverables completed prior to cancellation will be provided to the client.

 

2.2 During Development Phase
  • Cancellations after development has begun will require payment for all work completed up to the cancellation date.

  • This will be calculated based on the percentage of project completion and hourly rates for additional work performed.

 

2.3 Near Completion
  • Cancellations when the project is 75% or more complete will require full payment of the agreed project fee.

3. Refund Eligibility

3.1 Service Failure
  • If ED Creative Group fails to deliver the agreed services as specified in the contract, clients may be eligible for a partial or full refund.

  • Claims must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the identified failure.

 
3.2 Milestone-Based Projects
  • For projects structured with milestone payments, refunds may only apply to incomplete milestones.

  • Completed and delivered milestones are not eligible for refunds.

 

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Initial consultation fees

  • Discovery phase costs

  • Third-party licenses, plugins, or services purchased for your project

  • Domain registration and hosting fees

  • Services already rendered

 

5. Cancellation Process

To request a cancellation, clients must:

  1. Submit a formal cancellation request in writing to projects@edcreativegroup.com

  2. Include project details and reason for cancellation

  3. Allow up to 7 business days for our team to process the request

  4. Schedule a cancellation review meeting if requested

 

6. Refund Processing

  • Eligible refunds will be processed within 30 days of approval.

  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method when possible.

  • Administrative fees may apply to refund processing.

 

7. Project Suspension

  • Projects inactive for 30 days due to client delays may be considered suspended.

  • Resuming work on suspended projects may incur additional fees and schedule adjustments.

  • Projects suspended for more than 90 days may be considered canceled.

 

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes regarding cancellations or refunds will be addressed according to the dispute resolution process outlined in our main Terms of Service.

 

9. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including acts of nature, government restrictions, or other force majeure events.

 

10. Policy Modifications

ED Creative Group reserves the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
